Northfield Community Partnership Events & Updates

Household Support Fund Update

Northfield Community Partnership are the lead facilitators for the Household Support Fund for the Northfield and Selly Oak Constituencies. On the 10 of August, the current round of HSF was changed. With immediate effect from 10th August 2022, new applications for HSF hardship grant payments are being restricted to Birmingham citizens born on or before 30th September 1956. Recipients of the grant payment now have to be 65 and over.

We must get this information out to as many people over 65 who could benefit from the HSF Grant. We know many of you run groups and sessions supporting people over 65 who might be eligible for this £200 grant. Many people of this age group have been reluctant to come forward and we need your help to encourage them to apply for this grant.

If you’re a community asset and think some of your residents would benefit from a drop in session at your location, please feel free to get in touch and we can send staff to talk to your residents and sign them up.
